Shadow Box Table

This is my first try at a shadow box. I decided to do a table. The whole project takes about a good three hours, not accounting for paint dry times.
You will need:
  • 6ft of 2"'x2"x1" lumber (spent $3)
  • Coffee table from Goodwill or yard sale (spent $3)
  • 1 yard of cloth material of your choice (I spent $9 at JoAnns)
  • table top glass (Cut at local Glass shop)
  • rustoleum furniture paint (Home Depot)
  • Foam Board (Dollar Store)
  • Awards and pins of your choice

Chalky Paint dresser for my son

Chalk paint is the greatest. No sanding needed. Just clean the item and get started painting. I used my daughters old pink dresser and used the chalky paint to turn it to "like new" with the blue. Not bad  for my first project.
